Days Keep Beginning

So, depending on whether or not Mom goes to open house tomorrow night, I may be grounded.  I don't think I'm failing anything, but still. 

Today, I went home after first block.  I felt like I was going to puke, and my head hirt really bad.  It ended up going away after I took some ibuprofen.  So, I spent the day surfing the interweb.

This blog didn't really have a point.  I was just informing you, faithful reader, that I may be grounded soon.

Good Things Come To Obsessive Compulsives Who Fixate

I watched Igby Goes Down today.  That movie is awesome.  There is like this whole breed of movies from the nineties and early 2000's that has just disappeared.  I don't even know how to describe it.  Smart ass scripts, fucked up but not scary characters, and this aura that makes me use the term "Degenerate Americans."  A few of these movies would be American Beauty, Empire Records (somewhat.  Empire Records is funnier than the others, but otherwise fits the criteria), Cruel Intentions, and last, but not least, Igby Goes Down.

This movie has also forever changed my view for the Culkins.  Kieren Culkin, aka Igby Slocumb, is hott.  Yeah, two t's.  Maybe it's because he's playing a degenerate American (see?) but he has allure.

So...the play's going good.  Costume and props are still a little crazy, but we've still got a while.

Today, a box of tech clothes almost fell on my head.  And then I smashed my forehead on Aaron's knee, walked into a closed door, ran into the corner of a wall, and fell into a box.  All in about ten or twenty minutes time.  It was bad.  They think I was on something.  I wasn't.

Honestly, there isn't really anything to report.  I still don't have a prom date.  Kinda beginning to worry about that.  I don't want to go by myself, but I do want to go.  Hmm...

So everything's weird.  Yesterday, I went in to give blood, and my heart was beating to fast, and the nurses were bitches and wouldn't let me give blood.  I got really upset about it too.  I don't know why, I just did.  I felt really bad because giving blood helps people and my heart was only beating so fast because I was nervous about the needles.  I cried when I got home.  Very strange.

Plus, I just felt like shit all day.  Not physically, but emotionally.  Also, no idea why.  None at all.

So, I began directing today.  I ended up pissing Austin off because I had to inform him that I was his director and he would do what I told him.  He's pissing me off anyway.

Anyway, yesterday was quite a day.  Hung out with Joseph in Bowling Green for a bit.  Bought the new Love At Stake book, which would be The Vampire And The Virgin.  Also I bought Charlie Bartlett and some comic book grab bags at the Great Escape.  Super 400 were playing, and they were really good.  We didn't stay for the whole set though, because we got bored.  Mostly because these old guys were blocking our view.  They have a song called Bluegrass Ends that's really really good though, and I'm probably going to Limewire it in a minute.

After that I ended up going to Morgan's house, where we watched Charlie Bartlett, bitched about boys, and ate iced honeybuns with chocolate chips on them.  Those were really good, by the way.  Her little brother made me lose the game.  Fun times.

So, I'm a director.  Dooley picked my proposal.  She also picked Check Please Take Three and, of course, the Complete History of America Abridged.  Cole's directing the first one and Douglas the second.  Auditions were today.  Here's the cast list for my play.

Surprised about Agent 1?  She did good during auditions or I wouldn't have had it.  Picking the people was nerve racking, and I'm so glad it's done.  Now we can actually start the play come Monday.

So, in other news, I got my permit, I now know how to drive, and I drive the rents around as much as I possibly can.  I watched Alice In Wonderland on Monday with Joseph and Daniel, and it was totally freaking awesome.  I'm maybe watching The Crazies with Joseph and Tiffany tomorrow.  If not, I am going to Bowling Green with Joseph.  We're probably going to see a band called Power 400 at The Great Escape.
